PME Terms and Conditions

Cancellations

Iced Yorkshire holds the right to cancel or change an advertised course. In these circumstances Iced Yorkshire will normally arrange an alternative date and offer students either a transfer to this date or, if this date is not convenient, an alternative course. If neither is possible a full refund will be offered. Travel and/or accommodation expenses will not be compensated for. 

In the unlikely event that the tutor is unable to teach the class, Iced Yorkshire will arrange an alternative date for the course.

In the event of unfavourable weather conditions Iced Yorkshire will make the decision to cancel a class if we consider it unsafe to access the local main roads surrounding our classroom in Stockton on The Forest If you are attending a regular weekly class or a multiple day workshop that has already begun, a 'catch up' date will be arranged. If you are booked onto a One Day workshop that has not yet started Iced Yorkshire will offer students either a transfer to an alternative date, a transfer to a different course or the option to receive a full refund. 

If our class location are unaffected by bad weather but you are unable to attend a course because of the conditions local to you, unfortunately we will not be able to offer an alternative date or refund.

Refunds and Transfers

We are unable to offer any refunds should you decide to cancel or are unable to attend your course for whatever reason. 

In exceptional circumstances, students who are unable to attend may transfer to another course if Iced Yorkshire is able to re-sell their original place to another student. This transfer is solely at our discretion and you will incur a £20 administration fee. 

No transfer will be offered if the following circumstances apply:

  • A course booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of the course date (unless a waiting list for the course exists and the place can be re-sold at short notice).
  • Students are unable to attend a course due to personal circumstances.
  • Students are unable to attend a course due to travel problems caused by bad weather or cancellations by travel operators.

Travel or accommodation expenses will not be compensated for should Iced Yorkshire cancel or re-arrange a course for an alternative date.

 

Complimentary Course  

Learners who have booked all three modules will receive a complimentary work shop to the value of £45 and is valid for six months or at the discretion of the proprietors. Once a place on a work shop is booked you are unable to cancel or transfer this course. This is has no monetary  value so non redeemable for cash.
